Zero Break Games to Restore its Acceptance of RPG Maker Projects

In the time since Advent Heroes was canceled, the RPG Maker development paradigm has been deemphasized by Zero Break Games and removed from consideration for publishing services due to changing requirements which precluded console development support for the versions in use at the time of the cancelation. However, the toolset has not been completely retired as it is still being used for a project which has been moved from complete publishing support to a consultation role. The Story of Two, which is remitted back to Atelier Erni, remains in the Zero Break pantheon on an unofficial basis for contributions and consultation, and it is on this note that the development paradigm is being restored to active service for its remaining targets on macOS and Windows (and eventually returning to Xbox and PlayStation upon acquisition of the necessary licenses and upgrades to support Unity deployment with the advent of RPG Maker Unite).

This decision was made in order to broaden the acceptance of games when Zero Break Games begins seeking projects in the near future to once more engage in publishing and contributions across projects without regard for the means of development, and to leverage experience gained during the previous efforts to support the RPG Maker community. As well, two add-ons for RPG Maker MV/MZ that were previously created prior to the retirement of support at the earlier time have been marked for improvement in order to begin adding features to complement their provisions and expand their capabilities and support.

Information on any games which are accepted or scouted for these services will be provided as it becomes available.
